The transfer station cannot accept:

Propane tanks with the valves attached
Big tires(tractor trailer, dump truck, etc)
Before you go...
Stop by the town office and pick up a transfer station sticker for your vehicle.

ONLY Deer Isle residents and property owners may use the transfer station. Contractors working for a property owner may apply for temporary disposal permits with the Town Manager.
There is a $12 fee for disposing of any appliance containing Freon. A receipt from the Deer Isle Town Office is required.
